Finally, a damnable 12 years later, here it is... and it's even better!!!! Unlike Tricycle, you won't need a while to discern the full depth of their interplay and extrapolations on simple chords (something they inherited from The Feelies, via Velvet Underground), as this recording is popping at the seams (kudos producer James Mastro, guitarist of recently reunited Bongos). Wild Carnation was founded by Richard Barnes (Electric and acoustic guitars), Christopher O'Donovan (Drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Brenda Sauter (The feelies, Speed the Plough, The Trypes) on bass and vocals. Richard and Christopher went on to join Speed the Plough for the 'Mason's Box' and 'Marina' CD's released by East Side Digital, Minneapolis. Mn. Anne Hopkins (Mini-Compact Farfisa Organ) joined Wild Carnation in 1999.
