Pendragon are releasing a special commemorative 40 year anniversary book/CD pack. The First 40 Years anniversary Commemorative collectors edition book/CD set will feature the amazing cover artwork of Simon Williams. 3 of the discs will be from last November's sold out 40th Anniversary tour from the 3 hour London 229 The Venue show, featuring many tracks rarely played like I Walk The Rope, Sister Bluebird, Excalibur and Dark Summer's Day all the way through to recent material like Faces Of Light and Indigo. The London show featured a return to the drum stool for Nigel Harris to perform some of the early songs plus some saxophone from original member and one of the co-founders, Julian Baker. Plus 2 remixed, new drums and extra keyboards from 2 classic reissue studio albums The other 2 discs will be completely remixed [not just remastered!] versions of The World and Men Who Climb Mountains, which more or less "bookends" the career of the band. Both remixes will feature re-recorded drums from current drummer Jan Vincent Velazco and some updated additional keyboards on The World recording.
