Immediate was the legendary label that served as an experimental playground where Andrew Loog Oldham and the early Rolling Stones gave shape to their musical vision and deep admiration for blues and R&B. During it's brief five-year existence from 1965 to 1969, the label released 81 singles, all of which are collected in this ultimate box set. From Small Faces, Chris Farlowe, and P. P. Arnold to Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, and even Nico before joining The Velvet Underground, the label became home to a remarkable roster of artists. They stood at the very center of the British Invasion and Swinging London movement that swept across the world at the time.
