The second volume in the Widespread Panic Archive series will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the group’s April 8th, 1989 stop at Valdosta, GA’s The Armory. At the time Widespread Panic was a slim quartet consisting of John Bell, Michael Houser, Dave Schools and Todd Nance and still shaping future favorites like “A of D”, “B of D” and “I’m Not Alone.” In addition, at this Valdosta stop the group performed a number of classics like “Porch Song,” “Space Wrangler,” “Travelin’ Light,” “Holden Oversoul,” “Pigeons,” “Driving Song,” “Disco” and “Chilly Water,” as well as covers of the Grateful Dead’s “Cream Puff War,” Talking Heads’ “Heaven” and Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home.”

The two-disc set will be available in mid-February both online and local independent record stores. A clip of “Holden Oversoul” from the performance is also now streaming on the band’s official homepage.
