Originally from Chalan, Washington, Alice Stuart started her career in the folk singing circles of Seattle in the early 1960s where she immersed herself in the blues and developed her own style. She performed at the Berkeley Folk Festival and she a formative role in Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention and leading a power trio in the 1970s. All the Good Times contains all of her original Arhoolie release from 1964 as well as seven previously unreleased tracks.
